4 of 4 people found the following review helpful:  zCover will scratch your ipod., By This review is from: zCover Cell Phone Case - Silicone (Wireless Phone Accessory) I am writing to inform anyone thinking about buying a zCover skin for their ipod video or nano that your ipod WILL be scratched after using this product. This product DOES NOT protect your ipod like the company advertises.
I have been using a black zCover skin with my 30 Gig ipod video for about 3 months. The ipod started brand new and is now more scratched than I was expecting. There are major problems with this product. First, the zCover clear plastic screen protector falls out of place very regularly. If you attach the ipod to your belt using the clip you will find that the cover falls off and your screen will be scratched. (In my case, deeply gouged) Second, dust WILL get under the skin and act as a sandpaper-like abrasive to your ipod. Your ipod will move around inside the skin and the dust in-between will scratch. The resulting damage is worse than normal scratching that would occur through moderate handling with out a case of any kind...Read more |
