This pocket is smaller than described. Product description states: 7.8 x 3.4 x 0.8 inches, however, this item is actually less than 4.75" x 3", and due to the line of stitching up both sides, its usable width is probably more like 2.5". Also, there is a slit at the top and another at the bottom, presumably to allow headphone cords etc. to pass through. Although my camera is approximately the size that should fit (the description states 4" x 2.5" x .75"), it does not. The neoprene fabric is attractive and the product should work well otherwise.

I use these cases (medium size) for my cell phone because they fit it perfectly and the padding protects it if I drop it and prevents scratches. Alternatively, the small size is good for an ipod nano or a digital voice recorder- it even has holes for the headphones, etc. The cases are cheap and come in lots of colors, but beware because some colors might cost more than others.
