Product Review

You will enjoy unmatched comfort, convenience & security with this ultra slim, lightweight and comfortable neoprene armband for the 3G iPod nano.

The armband completely covers the nano (except vital access points) and offers the flexibility of holding the player right side up or upside down so it is easier to read when viewed on the arm. You have full navigational control through the clear, protective window cover; and a cord management flap securely stores and manages the earphone cord.

The armband is hand washable and adjustable to fit arms 8" to 16". For larger arm sizes, an Armband Extender is available. See model EX3 which increases the maximum arm size by about 6.5 inches.

1.0 out of 5 stars Good Concept, Bad Fit, February 20, 2008

I went with this because it had full face protection and the handy little side velcro for wire management. The ipod fits loosely in it, but it will not fall out. Here is the issue: the plastic see through cover is not snug on the face of the ipod so the control wheel is hard to use. This mainly happens when I am either running or biking, the band builds up heat from my body temperature, then the plastic gets sticky. It will then stick to the ipod. So what happens is say I am scrolling through album art and stop on what I want, when I lift my finger and the plastic pulls up from the ipod since it is not a snug fit, it will scroll to another selection. Very frustrating. This happens on any sort of navigating. Say you just want to increase or decrease the volume. Well be warned after you scroll to your desired volume and lift your finger you may get a blast in the ear as it turns up or down if you are lucky. Even strapping it tighter doesn't help. I pushed on the back of it...Read more

I bought this after much research and based on other reviews i was kind of skeptical but other products didn't have much better reviews. I even checked eBay for the 5 Dollar solutions but I am glad i went with this one. The Arm Band is all Velcro and stays snug during running and workouts. The only reason i gave it a 4 instead of 5 is the Plastic Cover is not as sensitive toward the volume etc as i would have hoped but I understand it secures the IPod better.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad, but definite room for improvement, December 27, 2007

This is very comfortable to wear and the ipod nano fits in there nicely.
The only drawback is that one piece of velcro is nice and long to accomodate different size arms, but the other piece of velcro to secure the band onto it is way too small. It seems that it would easily come apart while exercising if you're not careful.
