Comment: I bought this product for a pandigital novel. As a classical dancer who has been a professional athlete all her life, I tend to spend a lot of time in steam rooms and in pool situations. Currently I have gone back to school to do my masters in physics - which requires a great deal of studying. Looking for a case for my pandigital novel I came across Trendy Digital. This has to be the most innovative thing I have seen in a very long time. Not only is it a water guard but now I can go to the pool, to the steam room, walk around with cups of liquid - hot and cold - and not worry about spilling on my ebook! This ebook is very very important to me as it holds all of my text books and a good deal of my notes.

Trendy Digital not only has a great product but great customer service as well. One email got Steve right back to me and with a wonderful response that took care of my every need. I have recommended this case to lots of my friends and I see a lot of Christmas presents about to be purchased from Trendy Digital.

Not only that - the price can not be beat. Most ebook covers start at $20-25 which upsets me as my reader only cost me $150, so spending more than 1/10th the price of the reader really makes me angry at accessory manufacturers. This was exactly in my price range, and exactly what I need. Try a trip to the beach with it to will prove what I am saying!!!

Comment: this is a great item - it's my second one - I accidently made a grove in the locking
mechanism of the first I had - so make sure you close your bag with the
width of your finger pad and not your nails - it would be better also if it was glare
proof.

Comment: I like the slide in, snap closed aspect of the cover. But I find on the hot days in the sun, the plastic almost seems to grow. There is enough extra plastic to fold back and cover almost 1/3 of the back of the Kindle.

I wanted a bit more snug case for my kindle, something more than a plastic bag. Myabe I'm just picky, but the waterproofing quality of the item is hard to beat!

Comment: What a worthless piece of junk. I now have a nice paperweight instead of a Kindle. The side of the bag ripped out and water entered. My kindle ran until its battery gave up the ghost and now the little trooper won't charge.

All I wanted to do was read my kindle in the hot tub. This thing won't even keep a sandwhich safe.

Save your money and buy a ziploc bag. You'll be able to use the buttons and have 1000 new bags for the price of this thing.

Comment: What dim witted fool thought it was a good idea to insert a piece of paper with heavy black ink inside the plastic jacket? The ink stuck to the plastic. Since I did not want to forever be reminded that this was "Made in China", I had to use Comet to scrub the ink off the clear plastic (first tried rubbing alcohol, Windex, Magic Eraser). I think my efforts may have stretched the plastic.

Needing to open the bag to reach the power switch is inconvinient.

It is a shame that the OCTOVO Splash Proof Case is no longer available for the Kindle 2. I will stick to the M-Edge "M-Edge Leisure Kindle Jacket"
