Having just recieved a 5G iPod, I scoured the Net and several stores for a good case. I had heard many horror stories about easily scratched cases and displays and wanted to get something reasonably durable that could be used for working out, traveling, and at work. Unfortunately there were not many options - a few cases claimed to work with the new 5G 30/60GB models, but were designed to work with the older, larger iPods, so they're comprimises; these didn't quite "fit" my 5G. I found the Marware case a good fit, as it's very snug and keeps the iPod well protected.
It easily converts to use with a belt clip, or a neoprene armband for working out. There is also an additional hard-shell-like cover for the front, which would completely encase the unit. The main case covers the back, top, bottom, sides, and some of the front. The front has a clear plastic cover over the wheel and display. The case definitely serves its purpose; with its flexible plastic shell covering the face of the iPod (click wheel, video screen, and everything in between) and its soft, flexible neoprene covering, it protects your iPod from outside scratches. Heck, I've even dropped it more than once, and it came out scratch-free..
However, it is VERY tight-fitting; I found it almost impossible to fit on the iPod. Thankfully, you don't need to remove it when attaching it to the adapter; just pull back the covering that folds inside the bottom.
The case itself seemed to scratch my iPod; As soon as I received my iPod, I kept it in the case. However, there is a hard plastic shell on the back with which you can attach the sports band and clip. When putting the iPod on, or removing the clip and such, I found it caused minor scratches on the back (a few, but very much noticeable).
Also, the soft plastic shell drove me insane; it kept on sticking to the surface of the iPod...Read more

Went through a couple of Ipod cases before finding one I really like. Fits like a glove and comes with a number of different options that make it very versatile. I bought it for the armband but am using the clip on feature more often.
