Speck CandyShell Cranberry White Truffle Crystal Case for iPod touch 2G, 3G (White/Cranberry)

I loved this case when I first got it. It was beautiful, and the sofy inside, hard outside style of case is my favorite type. However within a few weeks the bright pink rubber part turned a dingy, dusty rose color. My boyfriend has the black and yellow version and the same thing happened on his, it just does not stay clean. Also, the plastic cracks far too easily. I have a crack by the headphone jack, one by the volume control, and the thin piece at the bottom above the dock port has 4. It's almost broken off. If it wasn't glued to the rubber, it would have. I love the look of this case but it's just not worth it. It only stay nice for a week or two then it's just yuck.

The case is very good looking and reshapes the iPod to feel more like the shape and thickness of a iPhone 3G. The rubber around the edges is very helpful for laying the case face down because of the traction it provides. The hard plastic is very sturdy and lives up to Speck advertising. The case allows for a little bend but it is not the easiest thing to get on and off. I have mine on 24/7 and wouldn't want to take it on and off every other day. The only tiny flaw is that the rubber and plastic piece that spans the 32-pin dock connect and headphone jack is a bit weak because of how thin it is. Though it hasn't caused me any problems yet I don't want to stress that part, it is a bit wobbly. Otherwise it is a great case and lives up to everything Speck says about it.

The case is very good looking, i like how it creates thickness for the ipod to feel more like the iPhone 3G.The hard plastic is very sturdy and has a nice gloss coat, the plastic is bendable but not the easiest to get off but there is rubber on the corners to help get off. Its my new favorite Case.
