Speck Products CandyShell Case for iPhone 3G, 3G S (Blue/Blue)

I guess the Candy Shell gets the job done, but the bottom at the charger port cracked without ever being dropped.

I've had Speck cases before - specifically, for my iPod Touch. Durable. Easy on/off when necessary (docking, etc.). Highly recommended; just be sure you're comfortable with the wilder color options before ordering. I ordered the Teal case since my iPod Touch case is "aqua." Not the same color at all. Much more Seuss-ian than I was expecting, but it works great. And, it makes it hard to leave my iPhone behind at restaurants or client offices since a quick scan will instantly home in on the bright blue magic box.

I really liked this case for about one month. It was easy to put on my iPhone and looked nice. It seemed to protect my phone well also. I liked that the volume & sleep buttons were covered by rubber, but were still easy to use.

My problem with the case is that it is not durable. It cracked and finally broke completely apart at the bottom, below the HOME button on my iPhone. It also cracked at the top left corner. I'd thought that it would have lasted longer than one month. I am not particularly hard on my phone, so expected a case that cost as much as this one would not have needed to be replaced so soon.
