Speck PixelSkin Rubberized Case for iPod touch 2G, 3G (Black)

Comment: This is the first protective case for my iTouch, that I bought about three months ago... I got swept up in the notion of "only the best for my new iPod" and was happy at first to spend close to $20 on it.
Now I am experiencing a case of buyer's remorse.

Since then I have bought two more cases, just for variety sake. One of them $3, another one for $6. Both of them seem to be just as good, functionable and attractive as this one, so now I am questioning spending at least three times the amount on the iPod case, than was really necessary...

Comment: This case seemed a little pricey but is worth it. Provides adequate protection and my daughter loved it.

Comment: This rugged case is a must have for the iPod touch. It helps to hold it and would provide some cushion in case it were dropped. Much better than cheaper ones I have seen. This does not hinder use of the touch in any way.

Comment: Bought this for my son and he really likes it. His favorite feature is the raised checkerboard pattern on the back. He said it makes the iPod a lot easier to hold onto when his hands are sweaty and it prevents the iPod from sliding so it will be less likely to get accidentally knocked off a table or desk top. The case fits the iPod very well: snugly, but not so tight that it is difficult to put it on. The spongy plastic is thick and seems like it will protect the iPod from a minor fall. The only drawback is that it does muffle the speaker a little (there aren't any holes in the back to let the sound through). Doesn't bother my son, he just turns the volume up a little louder when he's playing games.

It is three times more expensive than the thin rubberized plastic case I bought for my daughter's iPod, but it feels like a higher quality product and the thickness seems like it will absorb more abuse than the thinner case. Regardless, my son loves it, so that makes it perfect! :)

Comment: Excellent, Great, Awesome! Perfect, Great fit and feel, Best case available! Can't go wrong! "Great product," "Great Company!" I miss-understood Universal Mania's S&H a little since the Pixel Skin was for a music item I thought the S&H would fall under that rate. Although I was surprised when I was charged $8.50 instead of $2.98 or even $3.99 it's all good because all in all, item still came in just under retail so however it looked it was still a good deal in the final total. And, the (*)Speck packaging is pretty darn cool so I'll give em' that!
