Speck Fitted Case for iPod touch 2G, 3G (Black/Gray "Lovely Roger" Skull Pattern)

This was my second Speck fitted case for iPod Touch. This one was a bit different than the first one in that it snaps together all the way around the perimeter. It fits perfectly and the skull pattern is masculine but low-key. I think if you used it 'normally' it would last for a long time, but my iPod stays in my pants pocket constantly unless it's in my hand. I use it as a PDA and music player. There's a weak point in the case caused by the narrow space around the screen activation switch at the top. Mine cracked at that narrow point about a month after I got it. I also have a GOgroove FlexPort that clamps the iPod from the sides in the car. I think the clamp pressure caused the crack, so I'm not putting the entire blame on the case. I have multiple Speck iPod cases, and this one is by far my favorite. All other speck cases I have sort of slide onto the ipod and you push it into place in the corners to snap it on. With this case, it comes in two pieces, one that covers the back entirely, and a small frame that snaps on over the top.

I know my other Speck cases are incredible protection wise (I drop my ipod, phone, etc. almost every day) but I have yet to drop it with this one. I imagine it'll be just as good as the rest, and I won't have the problem with the bottom of the case eventually snapping because I take it out of the case almost daily for use in docking stations. Other than the fact you can't dock it with the case on, it's amazing. Definitely worth the buy!!
