The plastic cover only protects the front sides of the ipod and not the back. It's pretty hard to get on at first but you can just pop it on from the top so you don't have to slide it onto the iPod, which is much, much harder to do. It is somewhat bendable and it is crystal clear as the product description says, but there is one negative thing about it. If you already have screen protector on your iPod nano then when you put the plastic case on then it pushes the screen protector inward so that air bubbles form near the edges. I tried to push them out and even took the case off a several times to see if I could flatten it out but there are still a few small air bubbles near the edges that won't go away. But if you don't mind that it is a fairly good product for the price.
