The red case is darker then pictured, but a very nice red. The case fits well and offers decent protection against small drops. Case is very thin and doesn't affect the heft or feel much, I really like that. The little prop/door/stand is super flimsy and poorly designed, the hinge is plastic and broke the third time I opened it. :( So now I have a great case with a red back, except for a 1"x.5" silver hole where the stand used to be...

The case is definitely cool! I haven't seen anyone else with this one. I am big on showing off my electronics and this was perfect for that. Adding a mirror screen protecter would really set you ipod apart from anyone elses!

The only negative is the little stand on the back is hard to work with as it doesnt come out enough fro it to stand too well, and i eventually broke it while trying to make it come out more.

Still, nice product that was delivered quickly and looked great when it came!

Case works well, allows access to all buttons and very reasonable price. BUT, the metal kick stand, while more sturdy than some plastic ones, doesn't stay latched and is allways swinging loose.
