Overboard Waterproof Case for iPhone / iPod Touch / Droid / HTC EVO 4G, Aqua

This is a great product and the only thing it isn't is indestructible - but I knew that and I don't assume anyone would buy this for that purpose. I buy from Amazon daily and until now I have yet to be compelled to leave a review. I spend a lot of time in my pool and while I don't use my phone underwater bc I am not a fish - I need to be able to answer my phone even if I am in a pool. I've tried waterproof containers, bags, any & everything - and I feel stupid now for not getting this a long time ago. It fits all generations of iPhones and iPods - I have all. iPhone 4 with "must have" bumper fits inside while on phone. Every case I have for older models fits inside while on phone. Best product that isn't "mainstream" I have ever used. Side note I have tried similar product and returned all. This thing is great. I use it to check my email and the weather while I'm in the shower. Not a single drop of water has come close to my iPod touch. Screen is fully usable when it's not directly under the water stream (the pressure from water acts like fingers).

Two minor issues. First, it's made to fit more than just the iPod touch, so the screen gets cut off at the bottom. Simple fix: I put a piece of wadded paper at the bottom. The case is tall enough, so it fits perfectly now. Secondly, you can't use headphones or external speakers with this case. Not going to lose a star over this, but it would be a great feature.

Picked up this item for a trip to the Caribbean. During our outings to the pool or beach I put the iPhone 4 into the waterproof bag. I was amazed that I could actually use finger gestures to control the phone through the bag!

Later when someone spilled a drink off the small table next to our lounge chairs and some of it went into the beachbag we had, the iPhone was saved since the waterproof case/bag fully protected it.

I even dared to test it in the ocean, since I had dropped (lost) my Kodak waterproof Playsport which I had brought to film underwater. While I wouldn't try an extended underwater test on a $300 phone, the short, 10 seconds I did risk it produced successful results.

Remember, this bag is just a bag, a strong bag that is what it says it is. It is not indestructible, so use it but don't abuse it and life will be good.
