Marware MicroShell for iPod Touch 4G (Blue)

I have two other marware cases for a 3g and 4g Itouch. They are burly, they have managed to protect them really well even with a curious infant on the prowl. I just received this and it's so thin, and hardly seems to provide much in the way of protection by comparison to the larger marware convertible shell. Unfortunately I had to get it on account that the design of the 4g Ipod along with many of the cases on the market require cases to be taken apart for docking. Which means it's hard for me to plug into my car, the gym or dock it, thus this less unobtrusive shell. I would like to see marware redesign their convertible shell to allow for easier docking without exposing so much of the itouch to possible mishap. I expected more from Apple than this new shape of the itouch that makes it harder to encase (thus protect) and use with preexisting connection sources on the market.
