This case is very protective. With the "classic" cover attached, almost the entire iPod is protected. The included belt clip, although I opted to keep the case in a pocket without the belt clip, is thin and works well.
One major problem is the plastic vinyl screen protector. It was scratched as soon as I opened the packaging, and it gets scratched very easily. It was obstructing my view of the screen, so I ended up removing the plastic vinyl screen protector by beginning to cut it and then ripping it out.
The "viewing window" cover is useless. It doesn't really further protect the iPod, and it is hard to use the Click Wheel through it. It also connects to the case too loosely.
With the "classic" cover attached, this is a rather nice, professional looking case. However, it looks kind of cheap and shoddy with the "viewing window" cover or without a cover.

This case is leather with two snap on alternate covers for the slip case. The removable belt clip is an excellent feature.

This seemed at first blush to be a great case--snug, smart looking, accessible. The only drawback was the plastic shield sticking in one spot to the screen. Though this detracted from viewing, I thought this might not present a problem until I realized that the "protective" case left a series of several scratches (following exactly the contact points) across the front and side of my new iPod!! I am waiting for a product from another manufacturer($40. more) to restore the screen and remove the scratches (hopefully). No response as of yet from MarWare after contacting them about the problem. I should have gone with a cheaper case that didn't "kiss" the protection right onto the screen. Buyer beware.
