This review is from: iSkin eVo3 Blaze Upgraded Athletic Protective Case for iPod with Video 30GB w/ Belt Clip (Electronics) Let me just start by saying that I really like the protection this case affords. It covers the iPod in a shock absorbing silicone that completely surrounds the device, including the thumb wheel. It also has a plastic cover to protect the screen and an optional belt clip. It does not add very much bulk to the iPod.
I bought the eVo3 for my new 160gb iPod classic (7th gen). This was an upgrade from my 30gb iPod video. I had this case for that iPod as well but the fifth gen iPod had a much more sensitive thumb wheel. Because of the quality of the iPod video's thumb wheel you could use it through the silicone on this case with ease. Though the thumb wheel on the 7th gen is better than the 6th gen thumb wheel it is still not sensitive enough to use though the silicone of this case. The newest iPod classic cases from iSkin have the silicone cut away from the thumb wheel but they cost quite a bit more.
