Originally I was going to try an aluminum case but decided to go with this one. I'm glad I did, as the belt clip on this one is much more sturdy for running than my aluminum case, and it has protectors for the ports. To the previous commenter who couldn't figure out which ones glow, it does say on their web site. Here's the link that tells which glow and which do not: [...] Or just go to www.iskin.com -> store -> select iskin Duo for ipod nano and you're there. There's a little circle next to the ones that glow that says "glo". The screen protector issue is nonexistent for me. It was tough to install to avoid the issue of distorting the outer edges of the screen, but after a couple of tries I was able to set it properly so that I can see the time etc. on the screen perfectly. My suggestion to anyone who sees distortion is to read the...Read more 6 of 6 people found the following review helpful: A Kid's Review This review is from: iSkin Duo for iPod nano (Blue/Green) (Electronics) I think this is a very good case for your iPod nano. The case is made up of two layers that work together as shocks in case you drop it or bump it against something. You can use them to gether or separately, although just the outer layer is a little loose around your nano. The gel-like material feels like it would protect the nano well from cracking if dropped. This case comes with a crystal-clear,hard-plastic screen protector that does NOT scratch the screen if you put it in correctly. It also comes with a click-wheel cover that inserts easily between the layers. It is made out of a material like a plastic drink lid from Burger King, but it works well and does not look cheap in the case, either, because it is kind of foggy. The click-wheel cover barely interferes with the sensitivity of the wheel, but you don't need it;the first layer of the duo has a built-in protector on it already. There is access to both ports and the hold switch with the case on,and there are handy port covers to keep dust...Read more 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: iSkin Duo for iPod nano (Blue/Green) (Electronics) I love this case! The beauty of the Nano is its size and portability, but I never took it anywhere before I got the case, because I was afraid of damaging it. I fell in love with the iSkin Duo because of its great looks: the colour interplay is real eye candy! Who knew I'd be even more impressed by the sure grip it gives me on the Nano, its protective flaps over the docking and earbud ports, and the slight tackiness of the inner skin's making the clickwheel easier to use? I ditched the beltclip immediately, although it seemed quite sturdy: I'm just not a beltclip kind of gal. It was easy to slip the Nano into the inner case, even easier to put on the outer skin, and the screen cover popped into place between them without any difficulty and stays put. No problems so far with lint attraction, as it wipes off easily enough. My biggest problem? Now I want one for my video iPod, and they don't make a Duo for it. |
