I wanted a case that would really protect my ipod, since I tend to be a pretty clumsy person. I thought about getting an otterbox, but it was just too bulky to be convenient. I ordered this case after a friend got a similar one for her Iphone, and it arrived right on time and in perfect condition. This case offers great protection without the bulk (and, let's face it, ugliness) of an Otterbox. I have (accidentally) dropped it a couple of times since getting the case, both on carpeting and hard flooring from a height of about 4 feet, and I even let my 2-year-old niece play with games on it all the time - this durable case has protected it perfectly! The case fits my ipod perfectly and is compact and smooth enough to easily fit in my pocket and wristlet. Also, the screen protector included was easy to apply, has no bubbles, and doesn't affect the quality of the images on the screen at all.

Now that you have your iPod Touch 4g, you'll want to protect it from scratches, dirt, and a dreaded dropped out of my hands.

I checked out many covers, and decided to try this model, which features a soft inner silicone core surrounded by a hard shell. It appears that the hard shell will protect the iPod should a fall (not from an airplane) occur.

I have read that some found it difficult (took a while) to put the cover on, but I managed to attach it with no problems. While offering protection, the cover doesn't add any bulk to the slim iPod design.

The case comes with a vanity pack that includes a small iPod stand, screen protector, cleaning cloth, and a squeegee for getting out bubbles that may develop under the screen protector when applying it. On my first try, I messed up the screen protector installation. Fortunately, an email to Incipio brought me a replacement screen protector. I really liked the Incipio Silicrylic case I bought for my old iPod Touch 2g, so when I got the 4g I naturally returned to Incipio. Well, the new one is a little different. The hard part of the case is a bit less slippery than the old one and seems to pick up a bit of grit--I prefer the old material. The soft part of the case also has a bit of a looser fit at one spot--the end near the iPod's home button arches up a little which looks odd but isn't a problem so far. A tighter fit here would be better. Perhaps if I took it off and re-positioned it I could solve the problem. Otherwise the case seems to be doing the job. The case also came with a screen protector which I didn't expect, so that was a nice bonus.
