The case does fit snuggly over my touch and leaves plenty of room to access the controls. It's also chunky, so it doesn't feel fragile. However, the finish to the case started to flake off under normal use (i.e. put in pocket). It doesn't affect the functionality of the case, but it certainly affects the looks.

I purchased this case after I bought the Incipio DuroShot and realized that I couldn't use most of my accessories with that case on. This case lets you slide the bottom portion off the iPod when you need to dock it to a speaker or FM transmitter or other accessory that uses the docking port (the port is exposed for use with the normal docking cable with the case on, but some accessories require more space than that hole allows). Also, the hole for the headphone port seems more accommodating than on the DuroShot and I am able to use my noise canceling headphones with the Slider case on. This seems like a sturdy, protective case, especially for the price.
