As anyone who has recently received an iPod Touch 4G will attest, the device seems intimidatingly precious and delicate right out of the box. It practically begs for immediate protection. When mine arrived, I went out to get a case for it right away. Unfortunately, the selection in my vicinity that afternoon was scarce. Referring to the reviews on Amazon for guidance, I decided on the Incipio Feather, and I regret the decision. The thin matte case is handsome, and fits the device snugly, but the protection it offers, which was my main concern, is minimal. Its main design flaw is that it does not properly "encase" the iPod-- there are no lips that cover, however slightly, the edges of the device. With the (minor) exception of the adhesive plastic film, the screen and edges are actually as vulnerable to damage as they were right out of the box. I had been looking for a preferably matte finish case for my ipod touch, to replace a silicone case that tended to slip off too often. I found this case, and although the price (~25) was a little high, I decided to go for it. I was not disappointed. The turquoise color is slightly lighter than it appears on the website. The matte finish is simply delightful, and it snapped on without any problem at all. I've had it for about two and a half months now, it has held up to all sorts of abuse (drops, etc). I did manage to acquire two slight scratches, but it's nothing major. Overall, I'd give it 4.5 stars, and would certainly buy it again. Definitely recommended!

If you want a sleek slim good looking case then get this one. But if your one of those butterfingers type who keep dropping the device and your looking for a slim sleek case for protection from falls then I would reconsider.

Pros - Great looking on iPod
- smooth surface
- protects from scratches for those who go crazy seeing them

Cons - because of the nice smooth surface if your not to careful then it might slip out of your hands.
- does not offer great protection from good amount of force impact. (a small chipped piece came off when I dropped it from the side at 5 feet)

Eventhough a barely visible piece came off, overall it still looks great and i get alot of compliments of this case. So i recommend that you get it for looks and for scratch-free protection case.
