I bought this Incase CL59878 Pro Slider Case for Apple iPhone 4 - White/Black from a local electronics store mid-July, so I've owned this case for a few months already to write a fair review. I previously had the Incase Snap-Case which was given for free by Apple last year, but the sides finally cracked from regular pocket-use so it was time for a new one.

Overall, I like the look and color to go with my black iPhone 4 (I've wanted the white iPhone 4, but I had this iPhone 4 since July '10 when it came out) so I wanted to go with a white case. However, this case is NOT screen protector friendly and my case cracked without dropping which I'll go into details below.

Price: You're paying a little more than the average price for the premium name of Incase.

Welp. As suspected I'm a total klutz with my expensive gadgetry. I bought the InCase Pro Slider over Incipio products due to visual aesthetics + protection. It was a slight compromise on protection after reading reviews on several other cases because it just looks damn good.

FIRST IMPRESSION -----------------------------------------------------

White plastic is shiny instead of matte with a rubberized bumper. I wasn't too happy about the shiny plastic but thats fine. It looks good.
The heavy protection is the rubber bumper around the phone. The front is really thin compared to the rest of the case. I guess that is good for the people that want to minimize on the clunk, but I was really skeptical whether that the less than 1mm thick wall could protect my screen from impact.

Very nice case, but, as with most sliders, too loose! I have to be careful how I grab it, as it will come off.
