I got this for my 5G Nano and although the windows don't fit precisely, it's doable. I like the protection the neoprene gives my nano and how lightweight it is. The only drawback for me is the clip is really stiff and it takes a little effort to attach it to any fabric. Other incompatibilities include the 5G is a nanometer longer than the sleeve which isn't a problem once you've closed the Velcro strap allowing you to plug in your headphones or a 2.5 jack, but you'll have to leave it open to plug in the ipod adapter. Also, there is no hole in the sleeve to take video with the camera. If you're only need a carrying case for your 5G that attaches to you clothing (rather than an armband) to listen to music and such, I recommend this incase product!

This is my 3rd one. I have one for each ipod. Very durable. Great for working out.
