I have an iPhone 3GS and while it is snug in the case when you first try and put it in, because the case is leather it looses up after a couple of days and then fits nicely. I have yet to find another case with a clip that is not big and bulky and one that actually stays clipped and does not fall off. I recommend clipping it carefully because if you jam it over and over again it can make the leather come loose at the bottom of the clip. The case has saved my phone from several drops. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By SF Guy USF "SF Guy USF" (San Francisco, CA USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Incase Leather Sleeve for iPhone 3G - Black (ES89025-B) (Electronics) I bought this and within a week the leather cover of the metal clip tore causing it to ride up making it very hard to get on a belt. In addition it is very hard to reach the edges of the iphone with this case. Other than that it does protect the phone when the phone falls - so hence I gave it 3 stars. Wish the leather did not tear on the belt clip. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By E. Oxenberg "Just another stay-at-home comput... (Los Angeles, CA United States) - See all my reviews This review is from: Incase Leather Sleeve for iPhone 3G - Black (ES89025-B) (Electronics) This case is made of a good-quality leather, and unlike previous Incase designs, does have the full cutout at the top that exposes the "face detection" sensor (which controls the screen shut-off when you hold the phone to your cheek). Unfortunately, when I put my iPhone 3G into the case, the sides bowed like a fish's mouth, making it look poorly-fitted and letting a lot of dirt into the case's sides. I guess the structural design and stitching isn't enough to keep the case wrapped around the sides of the curved surface of my iPhone. I wound up buying a Chinese-made hard leather sleeve from a competitor's web site that didn't have a clip; I miss having the phone on my belt, but the look is a lot cleaner. |
