The thig I like most about it is that there is basically zero added bulk to the phone. So far after about 3 months the case seems to be holding up pretty well. The one bad thing is that this thing is IMPOSSIBLE to get off! I emailed the incase website and they told me that many many people have this problem and to use latex gloves to get a good grip. Didn't help at all by the way. I've only gotten the case off twice and I have to literally dig my finger nails under the case and push/pull as hard as I can which has created minor scratching. Some might consider this a good thing though as it will not pop off when you drop it, but I would like to take the case off at least everyone in a while to clean it out. However I do reccomend the case, I dig it. 15 of 18 people found the following review helpful: This review is from: Incase CL59152-B Slider Case for iPhone 3G and 3GS, Black I researched iPhone cases fairly heavily before deciding on the incase slider. It was the best of the options that were open to me at the time, all things considered--and initially I was really pleased. It ads little bulk, the build felt solid, it fit the phone like a glove, and it protected my phone from the fate of a cracked screen after the dreaded but likely awkward fall. But my initial satisfaction soon gave way. First, I noticed when I took the case off to clean the phone that it had dinged and scraped the chrome bezel on the front of the phone. Then the case began to become looser and to creak. And then when I removed it again, I noticed that the case was scratching the back of my phone. For a case that is meant to protect, scratches are unnacceptable. Some will say that the scratches are not The case itself but rather bits of grit that get caught between the case and the phone that get dragged accross the back when you slide it off. This review is from: Incase CL59152-B Slider Case for iPhone 3G and 3GS, Black This will be my second Incase. P.Wilson mentioned the flaking after a few months and I agree. However, it took about 6 months for this to occur with mine. I recently tried another case because of this. I bought the Incipio SYLICRYLIC Case thinking it would be a little better and I was wrong. I will accept the flaking in exchange for the style of the Incase. As far as scratching my phone, there are none worth mentioning. People are complaining about it being difficult to remove the case. Isn't that what you want? Why would you get a slider style case that would easily slide off? Honestly, it's really not that difficult to get off. I think this case adds more style to my phone and that's why I bought another one. I might add, I use my phone constantly so it's constantly being moved around. As many times as I slid this thing across my desk or took it in and out of my pockets, I'm surprised it just now started flaking. For this, I will still give it a 5 star rating. |
