Protects ipod. Doesn't come with screen protector (most other newer generations do). Case is matte, but once scratched becomes shiny. Also, color appears to have a pink hue, not true red.

Fits 1G 32 gig well.

When I ordered this item, it said that it was for a 2nd and 3rd generation i-touch. (Now I notice that it says 1st) When I received the item the box stated that it fit only a 2nd generation i-touch and it definitely did not fit my 3rd gen. Therefore I'm returning it. So I really like the item but make sure fits the correct i-touch. The mistake was with the item being displayed on this page...(before it said 2nd and 3rd now it says 1st)
