Wake to your iPod, radio, or buzzer, with dual alarms. |
Charge and Play Your iPod
The iCP310B will charge and play your docked iPod, so you can listen to (or wake up to) your tunes while it receives a charge. When you wake up and hit the road, your iPod will be ready to go.
FM Radio
Pull up your favorite radio stations with 20 user presets for each band, for instant access to live programming.
Dual Alarm
Set two separate alarms and wake to your iPod, the radio, or even a good old-fashioned buzzer. The alarm volume increases gradually so as not to jar you out of sleep.
Throw in two AAA batteries for backup, and you'll still make your appointments even during power outages. The usual snooze and sleep timers are included as well, for drifting off or refusing to get up just yet.
TV Output
Enjoy video from your docked video-enabled iPod on the big screen, thanks to a composite (RCA) video output. Connect a standard RCA style AV cable to the composite output, adjust your iPod's TV out setting to "on," then sit back and enjoy.
Subwoofer Output
If you want a little more "oomph" in your system, you can connect a subwoofer using this output. The iCP310B also features a bass mode for getting the most low-end without a sub.
Auxiliary Input
Listen to external audio sources--like computers, CD players, non-docking iPods, or MP3 players--using the auxiliary input.
What's in the Box
iLive iCP310B, AC power adapter, iPod docking brackets, and user's manual.

I was looking to replace my system with a simple iPod docking station with alarm clock radio. However following the initial set-up, the AM/FM radio is not a strong tuner and fails to stay tuned regardless of where you position the antenna.
PROS: The dimmer has 3 settings and the lowest one is excellent for night time. The clock readout is a good readable size. The sound is perfectly fine for the money. CONS: The control buttons are poor quality and I would expect them to break in less than a year. If you are a Normandy landing veteran, you will be reminded of the "cricket" clacker every time you depress the volume and tuning buttons. Pretty annoying. The other buttons and lettering are too small and poorly marked.
