i bought this for the price...and figured if it didn't fit...or didn't look right, i wouldn't be out too much money. but i was pleasantly surprised! the case is silver...and the black zebra stripe is a cool fabric material (feels kinda like felt, but not as thick). very cool looking! and my ipod shuffle (4th gen) fits perfectly with the compact earplugs. i feel totally safe keeping my ipod shuffle in this case...the silver case is hard (but not plastic-y hard)...hard enough to keep my shuffle from being banged around in my purse...or gym bag.

ps-i have some earclips to attach to my earplugs (to wear while running - so my earplugs stay in my ears)...the earclips don't fit inside the case...which doesn't bug me (but just in case you have earclips & want them to fit in the same case - you might try a slightly bigger case).

Overall, this case does the job - it is small, easy to use, and protects your iPod. The black on the Zebra print has that slightly fuzzy felt look to it, so the appearance is just ok to me. The black also tends to fade.

Well...you get what you paid for. Cheap price for a cheap item. The design is already rubbing off and the zipper isn't alligned properly. Usable but very sloppy looking. Good for something temporary but not a good permanant fix. But I have to say, it did ship very promptly and on time.
