Its very attractive and unique. I have other iPods and all are in Griffin iClear cases. The descriptions I've seen so far are a bit vague so I thought I'd post first-hand details:
The Griffin Wave Case is made up of three parts: a clear faceplate and two velvet-soft, slightly opaque back pieces. The case, when empty, does not appear like it will hold together (the parts do not 'click' together); however, they do fit snugly and securely on a 4th generation iPod Nano. My word to the wise: wipe down your nano first, no need pulling things apart to wipe off a fingerprint. After reading reviews and seeing some cases in person, I was disappointed. The Wave looked different so I decided to give it a try. I love it! It seems to protect the iPod well. I can easily recharge and sync the iPod while it is in the case. And the case is not hard to disassemble like others are (according to people's reviews about iPod cases, usually they are hard plastic that cannot be removed without destroying the case and/or iPod). The only downside is that I never want to take the iPod out of the case. I am looking for an armband for working out where I can slip the iPod into the armband without removing the Wave case...perhaps in the near future Griffin can make an armband that does this?? |
