This cover and armband did a good job holding my new IPOD Nano (Gen 5) on my arm while I was at the gym today so it met my primary requirement. I would prefer a product which also provided waterproof & scratch protection of the screen and power holes so have rated this a 4.

If my Ipod falls on the floor accidentally, I hope nothing is going to happen. Now is all protected!

I find it hard to justify paying over $20 to carry and protect an ipod nano - it's so much lighter than the ipod touch, you can drop it and it may not even detatch from your ears. That aside, I got the nano because it is some much nicer for exercising - and now the FM player makes having an arm band more useful for indoor running at the gym. Whether for ease of use in exercise or some additional proection, the neoprene skin case bundle is a great deal for the money. The arm band is comfortable and it's easy to slide the nano in and out of the case. A note - it's not so convenient to take the protector off of the armband if you want to leave it on the nano. I really don't, but you can slide the arm band out, but it's a thread the slit thing to put it back. For my use, the combination of utility and value is hard to beat. I don't have the Nike pedometer unit, but it's nice to have an easy way to stick that on your shoe if you do. I think the economists call this a consumer...Read more
