This review is from: GelaSkins Protective Skin with Screen Protector for 80/120/160 GB iPod classic 6G (Starry Night) (Electronics) The skin is a great way to protect my Ipod without adding extra bulk. I've also gotten several compliments on the style that it adds. However, after a couple of weeks I got fed up with the sticker that goes on the "wheel". It inhibits movement, doesn't recognize when you are spinning it, and is very frustrating. So, I took that part off. The rest of it still looks great, but now there is a part of the painting missing. Oh well, better to be able to spin the wheel than to have all of the skin there. It was nice, however, that when I removed part of the sticker it didn't leave any residue on my Ipod. And I liked that I could remove just a piece of the skin without having to cut it or make any other modifications to it.
I still like it, it still protects (most of) my Ipod and it still looks good. That being said, I LOVE it. As other reviewers mentioned, it's easy to apply and easy to take off when needed, and it makes your iPod look quite stylish and unique (which is really neat if you're a single gal like myself and take your iPod to the gym and the park and the coffee shop....100% guaranteed conversation starter that will no doubt segue to van Gogh and missing ears!)
Also, if you are really looking for a way to protect your iPod and still use this product, you may want to do what I ultimately ended up doing and purchase a clear, durable protective case. I found one at my local 'big box' store for about $20, and there are some here on Amazon for a comparable price.
