I was skeptical about first getting this new iSkin based off of the other reviews that I read, but now that I have gotten it I am very pleased. Originally I had an iSkin for my third generation iPod and loved it so that is why I looked into getting another one when I got a new iPod. The front cover is a little challenging to get on but once it is one I have no worries about it falling off by itself. The only drawback to this is that the pre cut hole in the skin for the headphone jack is designed for the apple ear buds and it is difficult to securely insert 3rd part headphone plugs into the jack without pulling back the rubber a little bit. I am debating whether or not to cut a bigger hole and will probably eventually do so. Besides that everything else about it is great and it works well the click wheel is a little bit slower because of the thin film protecting it but I've gotten use to it. I would recommend getting this for anyone who has an iPod.

Nice, but could be better,

Overall a okay ipod cover, but my only gripe is that most of the time you have trouble with the wheel responding through the silicone cover. I'm considering cutting out the area over the controls. Pressing the buttons isn't a problem but most times it doesn't repond to any scrolling motions.
Update: I did cut out the part covering the wheel and works much better, I do like the looks of it, but again the wheel covering is the only issue.

The good: Protects the screen, headphone jack, and dock connector very well. The belt clip swivels 360 degrees and can be removed/replaced by smooth silicone insert. The visor also alleviates a lot of the 6G scroll wheel awkwardness by forcing your thumb to stay on track.
The mediocre: "Quicksilver" is market speak for "metal fleck". The belt clip is a one piece cheapy and will probably snap after a while. There is no depression in the back of the silicone skin for the belt clip's mounting hardware, so it will mess with the fit a little.
The fail: Very difficult to install. The silicone skin is very snug and requires lots of massaging to fit properly. The visor is also tough to install; you'll want a thin/dull piece of metal to help shoehorn it on. Make sure your iPod and the visor's screen cover are immaculate before you begin, and wear gloves while assembling the case. Believe me you don't want to remove this thing to get smudges off later.
