Best iPod Protector I've Found,

This review is from: EVO4 Duo for Ipod Classic 160GB Quicksilver / Silver (Electronics)
Four years ago I bought one of the earlier versions of this iSkin for my 20GB iPod and it lasted me until now, when I decided to upgrade to the 160GB iPod Classic. When I bought the 160GB iPod Classic I decided to buy the EVO4 iSkin and let me tell you, it's better than ever!
The silicone cover fits snugly over the iPod which is perfect and the metallic front plate provides protection for the screen and gives the iPod a great look. Note that the silicone cover and the metallic plate DO NOT COVER THE CLICK WHEEL. I don't know why others are saying this; my thought is that they are using an older iSkin and not the EVO4. It also comes with a clip that I use to clip to my shorts when I go to the gym.
I can't say enough positive things about it - the silicone cover will protect the iPod from scratches, the front cover protects the screen and gives it a great look, and the clip is perfect for when you use the iPod on the run.
Highly recommended.

I bought this case at the same time as purchasing a 7th generation ipod classic. Some of the reviews stated that they found it very difficult to put the silicone case onto the ipod. I did not find this the case at all. I was prepared to invest the time and fight to get the case onto the ipod as it looked a robust product that would protect it in case of it falling or being knocked. This time would be well worth being spent if meant protecting my new ipod. It took about two minutes to put the case on and that included removing the belt clip.
The reason it doesn't get five stars is that the flap for the insertion of headphones looks a little flimsy and may well break/tear off in future. However, the case looks tough enough to handle some accidents which is what it was bought for.

The case looks really nice and modern, fits very snugly, and comes with good instructions. However, taking off the belt clip and getting the metal faceplate with the screen protector on were very tough. The rubber that makes the case fit so well is what makes removing the clip so difficult. Getting the clip off's no problem, but getting the mounting plate inside the case off is. That'd be half bad, but then you're told to insert a rubber piece to fill in the holes where the hooks for the plate were. Also, I don't know what the issue was with the faceplate, but I had to try three different methods to get it secured on both sides. Once it's on, though, you barely can see that there's a case.
