When Scosche announced this product, I thought it looked fantastic. Cool design, smart flip-out connector and USB cable, pocketable size. When I received the product, it was exactly as pictured... until I plugged it in. The subtle blue power indicator lights in the product photos are anything but. When plugged in, any sexiness of the product's design are immediately overpowered by the blinding, flashy, pestering blue lights, more on par with those LED keychain flashlights. The LEDs are WAY overpowered for their intended purpose.

Disappointed, but not deterred I allowed the unit to charge to the point of 4 solid, glaring blue lights, then unplugging the USB and plugged the flip-out 30-pin connector into my nearly-out-of-juice iPhone 3GS. I did a ton of research on this and similar products. Probably too much. I made the call on this as it met all my needs, small, 40% charge, stand and sync cable. There is nothing on the market that does all this and fits nicely in your pocket. I am a road warrior and in sales and this product has saved me many times and allows me to be on the move while on the charge. I love looking at people charging there phones stuck to a random wall outlet,,, I have probably convinced 10 friends to get this product already. All the stuff about the lights being bright are true and they are not necessary, but who cares?! If they bother you, flip the unit over so the lights face the surface and bam! No more bright lights. Get over it. This product is best in class for the price and a MUST have for anyone mobile and on the phone all day. Get one!
