eForCity Premium Leather Case w/ Lanyard for Apple iPod Touch, Pink

I received this cute case (in blue) two days ago. Since it (the ipod) was new, I had been reluctant to listen to it while carrying it around without a protective case. Within one hour after putting the ipod touch G2 8G in the case, the screen went black and the ipod froze repeatedly, requiring resetting (which actually needed my computer to finish). This did not happen out of the case. Initially I thought maybe part of the case was turning something off, or there was something wrong with the ipod. Then I read this link (on the amazon website) and cut the magnets out of the case... since doing this, the ipod has not frozen. But of course, now the cover doesn't stay shut.

I found this ipod case, offered by Eforcity, and decided to buy primarily because of the price. Eforcity and Bargaincell have the best prices out there & they both have great offerings on Amazon. I've bought numerous things from both, and have always been happy with my purchases, as have my kids and husband.

This particular case, is in pink leather, with a LONG strap. It's a little on the bulky side, so it's not for those who like the silicone cases or other very slim cases. I wanted something a little more protective, and this filled the bill. The ipod slides right into the case very easily - with adequate openings for the ipod cords, ear phones, and a memory card. One thing that wasn't included was a screen protector - which was fine with me because my husband has a case with a screen protector, and it has since become so damaged you can hardly see the screen. I LOVED all aspects of this case... EXCEPT the magnetic closure interfered with my iPod every single time I closed the case (so I would have to reboot). Apple claims magnets will not interfere, but they are just wrong. You may be one of the lucky ones whose iPod doesn't get messed up, but why risk it? You can get a case that has a "snap" with the magnet closure attaching to the back of the cover instead of directly to the iPod body (but it doesn't have the lanyard).
