iSkin Duo-Band Armband Case for iPod nano 5G (Black/Clear)

I purchased this band because I really loved the iSkin for my Gen2 Nano (which died after a long useful life). I use the Nano when I work out, and I work out HARD and I sweat a ton. The old iSkin product kept the nano away from my skin and it never got wet. This new unit keeps the Nano so close to your skin that the moist hot air condenses on the Nano, even underneath the clear skin. This is especially bad for the Gen5 nano because Apple put that silly video camera on the back which has a corresponding hole in the iSkin. If iSkin had only left the attachable belt clip option, which raised the unit away from your body, then it would be fantastic. All in all if you just want something to use to wear your Nano on your arm while you are out at the mall or doing something non-sweat inducing - then it is fine. But if you are looking for something that will protect your Nano from your sweat then look elsewhere, this is not the product for you.

The arm band worked well and stayed on my large arm well. The band stretched out after about 6 months. I wore the band to the gym 5 days a week and after a bit the plastic ipod guard started to smell. I soaked it in vinegar which helped, but after 6 months it was really time for a new one. I am going to try a different brand, but will switch back to this one if the new brand does not last more then 6 months.

This armband is great. It fits nicely and my ipod is well protected, and easy to access while running. I would recommend it to someone else.
