my son is so hard on his iPod nano, that he has to have something to protect it and this case does do that. i've had to replace this case 4 times. the first thing we do right out of the package is cut out the clear plastic on the inside. that clear plastic makes it difficult to use the click wheel and causes a glare on the LCD screen. after about two months the belt clip on the back comes loose and eventually falls completely off. if i were the manufacturer of these "Podfolios" as they call them, i would not use the clear plastic on the inside and re-enforce the belt clip.

I've used this case for ten months now WITHOUT ANY scratches to my Nano. In fact, I like it so well that I bought the same (but larger) model for my new iPod Touch last month. The case is well-constructed, amply padded and does a great job of protecting the iPod without restricting one's access to the controls.
