Clip-on Case w/ Belt Clip for Creative Zen, Clear

The "Clip-on Case w/ Belt Clip" is a very solid and attractive protective covering for the Zen. For the price, it really can't be beat. Here are my observations:

Pros:
* Fits Perfectly, Very Snug
* Crystal Clear Covering Protects Screen Without Impacting Viewing
* Case Allows Access To All Controls And Ports (unlike some more expensive ones)
* Very Inexpensive

Cons:
* Belt Clip Is Useless And Should Not Be Trusted! Seriously, see the other reviewers comments as well!

Overall, this is a great protective case, at a very fair price. Recommended! If you really need a clip, see Creative Hard Plastic Case for Zen (Clear), it also has a built in stand that is useful.

I bought this case a few months ago and the belt clip has detached from the case several times, even after I've made sure it's screwed on tightly. Luckily, the player has never yet hit pavement or concrete, only grassy or carpeted surfaces. I suppose the hard plastic case protected it somewhat. I'm going to try gluing the clip to the case by applying glue to the threaded portion, though this will disable the swivel feature.

This case is pretty convenient, it's hard to see from the product images, but there are cutouts for the reset pinhole, sd slot, controls, ports, power switch and microphone. It doesn't actually mold to the raised design on the back, there's another on the outside of the case. The belt clip isn't worth anything, it's flimsy and lets the player rotate while on the clip. At least it's removable, although the mounting hole for the clip is raised above the surface of the case so it doesn't sit flat on a table. Apart from that, it's good, although I can see it getting loose in a few years, which is ok, because then I'd still have gotten my 4 bucks worth.
