I was a little skeptical about have a case thats half plastic and half silicone, as I would have preferred all silicone, but it turns out this case works great. It fits on snug, has port, click wheel, and screen covers. I like how it gives you the option to use the removable belt clip, or a lanyard which sticks right into the charging port. I prefer the lanyard because it doesn't make the iPod so bulky. The downsides of this iSkin is it was somewhat tricky to get the plastic cover on correctly. I had to bend it a bit, and I was afraid I was going to break it. It also took some maneuvering to get it lined up perfectly on the silicone. Also, those with big fingers may have some difficult manipulating the click wheel, due to the plastic cover creates a pit. Overall though, a very worthwhile investment.

I bought this for my son's Ipod -didn't want it damaged- and believe me it has done the job! He is 13 yrs old need I say more? He loves it because you don't have to take it on and off it simply stays on! I tried buying him the silicone sleeve type protectors and he never used them, hated them, but this one has not come off! It has been dropped, kept in his jeans pocket and still looks brand new!

I was concerned about the wheel function working ,but the only issues with it is ,once in a while when i use the fast forward/backward ,it gets stuck on ,but thats minor. My old case wouldn't let me work the wheel at all

So this one gets an A+++++ 5 stars
