This is exactly what it says it is, but I found the previous reviews were not very informative. I purchased this to use with my blackberry while on my morning runs. Even though my ipod is smaller and lighter, I wanted to be able to utilize the connectivity (txts and phone calls), GPS (for running stats), and streaming music capabilities of my BB Curve 8330, which fits PERFECTLY inside this armband. I couldn't have been any more pleased, it even accommodates space for the track/volume buttons and headphone jack. Except... for some reason the manufacturer sewed rough (not the soft) velcro to BOTH sides of the strap so when in use, one side of the rough velcro (the unused side) was rubbing against my armpit. This was a simple enough solution however: I took a small set of scissors and carefully cut out the offending side of the velcro, exposing the smooth nylon fabric underneath it. NOW it's perfect and doesn't pinch, grind, tear, or rub in any way, it securely holds my phone to my arm...Read more
