The "sports" material is what I needed, so this caught my eye. I like the fact that it is machine-washable (which I haven't done yet). My nano fits very snuggly in the cover, and the capsule for the earphones is pretty nifty to wrap up all that excess wire dangling.
Good things: -Light weight compared to my old bulky neoprene one. -earphone holder is removable -Once you find the hook that works, there is no problem with it staying in place. Might be due to the wicking material not making it slippery? There are a few downsides to it, and it may not affect you as much: -After long workouts (an hour or longer), it seems that some moisture has somehow leaked into the ipod part - which defeats the purpose of the protective cover- and it is hard to slide the ipod back out. It is difficult to manipulate the hook into the right slot with one hand. Velcro would have been an easier way to close the band around my arm. 10 of 10 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Belkin Sport Armband Plus Case for iPod nano 3G (Blue) (Electronics) This is a fine armband for the iPod nano, except for the method of securing it on one's arm. You have to insert a hook into one of numerous slots(depending on the size of your arm). I found this process extremely cumbersome--you almost need three hands. Moreover, once you find which slot fits your arm, you will have to mark it somehow so that you won't have to go thru trial and error each time. I understand that this is a personal perference, but I would much prefer velcro--and have purchased an armband that uses velcro. Anyone want to purchase my Belkin armband? |
