Belkin Polycarbonate Case for iPod classic 6G (Black)

I'm sorry to go against the grain, but unlike the other reviewers I really did not like this case. I bought a new 6th gen Ipod Classic and needed a cover. I needed something that would keep it safe while I worked out, jogged, and did some gardening. while this Belkin case did fit the Ipod, it felt flimsy to me, and seemed like it would readily shatter if accidentally dropped. The Ipod classic is much more fragile than any of the others due to it's internal hard drive. And I am known for being somewhat accident prone. I chose to pay more and go for a Tough Skin silicone style case with a lanyard and arm band. I'm glad I did.

This is a solid polycarbonate case for your Ipod. Even though it says 6th generation, it fit my new 7th generation Ipod perfectly...thank goodness apple is smart enough to keep the shape of the ipod classic relatively unchanged so as not to cause confusion when consumers shop for aftermarket products!

In order to give you a better idea of what this thing actually looks like, it's a hard plastic case, with thin soft plastic coverings for the ipod screen and controls. Phonejack, power socket, and "hold" button are the only parts left un-covered when the case is on. This is really wonderful, as it will protect the ipod from drops, scratches, and spilled beer as can often be found at parties.

My only complaint is that the plastic covering the click wheel means you'll lose some precision when operating your ipod manually...still easy enough to use, but the tactile response leaves a bit to be desired.

Awesome, sturdy, solid cover for my new ipod 120gb 7G classic. Worth the money and still better then buying from apple store or anywhere else
