Summary: ipod touch case 2009-01-06
Comment: The case is fine with one problem. The home key is covered by the case and cannot be touched. To overcome this problem the designer/manufacture included a ball encased within the leather and located over the home key that can be used to press the home key through the case. It works, but too well as the key will get pressed when you don't want it to be as when in your pocket etc.

Comment: It's a good quality product. The case looks great, I really like this aspect. When you rotate the iPod for widescreen viewing, it does tend to slip out of the case. Over time the fit becomes more loose and this tendency to slip becomes more pronounced. Overall, it's a great case for a great price. I will, however, be looking for an additional case for more active uses (jogging, gameplay, etc.).

Comment: This product is amazing! it is a very well made case that wieghs almost nothing, the genuine leather not only looks clasey, but feels amazing too. This product really beats out all the rest. i would recomend this to anyone who enjoys bieng in style and for the need protection of you're i pod.

Comment: The IPod Touch cover is great. It keeps it completely conceled. The only thing I would change is the velcro closer. The velcro has quickly become frayed and lost it's "sticky" ness. The company should have made it a "snap" instead of velcro.

Comment: This case is nice, but it has two drawbacks that I have experienced.
First, the technical details on the description say, "Clear screen protector allows easy navigation", so I was under the impression that the case had a clear screen protector. It doesn't. The black flap works well to protect the screen while I'm not using the ipod, but clear screen protectors are necessary to protect it while it is in use.
Secondly, the leather on each side of the screen at times gets in the way of typing, scrolling, etc. This is not a major drawback for me, because I use my ipod very little. Someone who uses an ipod constantly may want to find a case that does not interfere with navigation.
Overall, I am pleased with this case. It protects my ipod well. I can throw it in my purse or bag without worrying about it being scratched up or otherwise broken. The ipod fits snugly into the case, and I have not had any problems with the ipod sliding out. Nor have I had problems with the velcro. It should be noted, however, that I open up the case and play with my ipod only a few times a week. Who knows if I'll experience the problems with the velcro and slippage that other reviewers have noted as the case becomes more worn.
Given my experience so far, I would recommend this case for an occasional ipod user.
