Belkin Acrylic Case for ipod Classic 2G

I did not purchase this case from Amazon, but I did get it from a local music store. After recent events (read the ENTIRE review please), I HAD to write a review for this item.

First off, the case is just that; a case. It protects the iPod classics very well. I have dropped my iPod a couple of times, and the case kept it from being damaged. My iPod classic 160gb cost me over $200.00 and is about 9 months old, but looks and works brand new because of the help of this case.

Recent events I am going to share should help you decide to buy this case. My iPod was in my hoodie pocket one morning. After our area had tons of snow dumped on us, I had to shovel some of our property out. Without knowing it, my iPod had fallen out of my pocket and into a pile of snow. I spent 2 plus weeks looking for it an various places I thought it would be, without knowing it was in a snow pile outside.

I've had several protective cases for the iPod classic and my biggest complaint was that it was a real pain to place the devise in a doc. This one comes apart and goes back together easily so I can slip it into my doc. Also, I thought the price was fair.
