I bought this armband about 1 year ago and use it religiously while working out. In fact, it is so sturdy that it looks like it has hardly been used.

The iPod stays snug in the armband even during rigorous workouts. I particularly like the fact that the Wheel Click is not obscured by a protective / plastic coating. I owned another arm band (which I think I bought at a local store) which had a rubberized coating that made it literally impossible to control the wheel click - I just ended up throwing it in the garbage.

Very satisfied with the product and its intended use. Zero complaints.

I was excited to receive this arm band. It is very difficult finding accessories for this 3rd generation iPod. Upon first using it, I discovered that the clear plastic for the dial was off center and made it difficult to manipulate my iPod. Then the loop holding the strap in place separated from the arm band, thus making it useless. Very dissappointed. You get the quality you pay for in this product. AVOID!!!
