Not For Large Arms,

Unless your arms are 12 inches or smaller do not purchase this armband, I have 16 inch arms and couldn't even secure it on my arm. If it will fit it is a great armband sleek and very comfortable, but if you are someone with larger arms this is not for you.

I just upgraded my nano 1st generation to the nano 4th (since my battery wasn't holding a charge). I always liked my ipod nike plus arm band so I thought I would enjoy this one as well.
No so much. I'm a male with average arms and it doesn't fit around my arm without reducing blood flow! Also, the material is very stiff so and very uncomfortable! Also, the receiver isn't covered by the material in this either (so I'm guessing moisture can easily get in the unit.
I wish they would have kept the design the same....I don't even mind not seeing the screen.
No I will have to look for an non nike strap that will hold the sensor!

I bought this along with my iPod Nano 4th and the Nike+ under the assumption that the collaboration between Nike and Apple would find its best home in this armband so endorsed by Apple and Nike.
I was wrong.
Not to start on a negative - I would say this: it is very slim and low profile. I found it sitting well on my arm and can be turned not to disturb most motion ranges.
There - not all is bad.
Sadly however, the Nike armband fails in the most basic of its requirements - house the iPod Nano 4th and allow operation of the unit.
Placing the Nano and taking it out of the case is a struggle. The case is so slim and so tight that i requires a flat surface, elbow grease and luck. On the bright side there is a low risk of it falling out of the case..
The most problematic issue i have with this is that the iPod cannot be operated while inside the case. The turn wheel response is flaky at best so sometimes it would register a click instead of a turn...Read more
