before i got the case, i've been using clear packaging tape to keep the screen and polished back from scratching. obviously, since i used the tape i'm not really that picky with my case, i just wanted a cheap, clear, hard plastic case.

i just got my case today and i'm satisfied with it. i got the clear one because i got the red nano and wanted the color to show through. i was able to turn the hold switch on and off with ease, be able to plug in my earphones fine, and i was even able to keep the case on when i put it in the dock connector. also the cover and back are snapped on, so it was extremely easy to open and close the case. since the nano is so slim to begin with, the case didn't bulk it up at all and fits really well. i'm still able to put it in my jean pocket with ease (and i'm a 19 year old teen that loves to wear tight jeans).

my only gripe about it...the case makes it a little hard to comfortably press the up, down and side buttons. but seriously...Read more

I got this to protect my new nano. As another reviewer mentioned this is not a very sturdy plastic. My biggest gripe is the total lack of screen protection. I would not purchase this again even if the price was $1.

I had gotten crystal hard cases for ipods before and been really satisfied, so I bought this case to protect my new nano. The plastic is cheap, thin and really breakable. It is highway robbery to charge more than a dollar or two for this thing. It does not fit toally perfectly, it provides no protection for the nano screen, and in general I think it just sucks. It seems highly breakable, the only thing holding the two sides of the case together is a little plastic tab. The photo is deceptive. Don't get this piece of junk.
